Options for Gameplay
Standard Game Pass (1 hr 30 min)
In the afternoons, evenings, and on the weekends, purchase a Standard Game Pass to play games from our Game Library and access the services of our Gametenders. They'll make game recommendations, help with setup, and teach you how to play.
Session Game Pass (3 hr)
Ready for some serious gaming? If you know you'll be playing for a long time, purchase the Session Game Pass to guarantee a 3-hour time block for you and your friends. Our Gametenders are happy to help facilitate play for as many games as you want!
Play for Free
Grab a game from our "Play While You Wait" section for free while you wait for your order any day of the week. You'll find these at the counter when you order.
Stop by Tuesday - Friday from 9 am to 12 pm to take advantage of our FREE gameplay hours. Play any of our 800 games with your breakfast without a table fee!
Purchasing a GAme Pass
The price of the Game Pass varies based on the size of the table you'll need and the length of time you'd like to reserve. Simply select one of the Game Pass reservation types when you make book your table online:

Want to rent games from our board game library for at-home play?
Become a member of Dodeca Games! For just $20 a month, you can rent up to 5 games every 2 weeks. You'll also get a 5% off Member Discount at Kobold's Kitchen and be the first to know about ticketed events.
Gameplay FAQ
Do I have to reserve a table?
Not necessarily. Walk-ins are always welcome; you can purchase a Game Pass at the counter. However, if you have a larger party or want to guarantee your spot, we recommend booking a reservation .
Can I bring a Game from Home?
Yes. However, you'll still need to purchase a Game Pass to play.
Can I play games and eat food at the same time?
Yes! Our hope is that you'll order a meal, snacks, drinks, whatever strikes your fancy while you play.
What types of board games do you have?
All kinds. Dodeca Games is our parent company and the supplier of our board game library. We've organized our library into 14 unique genres to help you find exactly what you're looking for. And be sure to ask our Gametenders for help—they've got expert recommendations to match any taste.
What Is a Gametender?
A Gametender is a board game expert. They're available at Kobold's Kitchen to recommend games and teach you the mechanics. They'll help you set up the game and get going in no time. Be sure to reserve a table to guarantee a Gametender is available to help you.
Can I rent games for at-home play?
Yes! One of the perks of becoming a Member is that you can rent up to 5 games every 2 weeks for at-home play. For just $20 a month, you get access to our entire rental board game library. Once you're a member, there are two ways you can rent board games:
- Order online for pickup.
- Browse our library in person. Our Gametenders will get you checked out with a rental in no time.
I don't need a gametender. Do I still need to pay a table fee?
Yes. Table fees are required for anyone playing games on the weekends or after 12 p.m. on weekdays, regardless of whether or not you take advantage of our Gametending services. The only exception is our Play While You Wait collection - these are always free to play. You can find these at the counter when you place your order.

What Is Dodeca Games?
Dodeca Games is the board game arm of our business and supplies our Board Game Library at Kobold's Kitchen.
Can I buy board games?
We have a limited number of board games available to purchase outright, but for now, most of our library is only available to rent. We hope to be able to provide a greater library of board games to buy soon - subscribe to our newsletter to get updates on when that happens.
